What a German packaging EPR quote can charge for.
A headline price may cover recycling participation, provider administration, both, or neither on the basis you need. The useful question is not “what is the cheapest number?” but “what does this number include, for which period, and what remains open?”
The short answer
There is no single useful EPR quote total without a declared scope.
LUCID registration is free. System participation for packaging subject to that duty is paid and depends on the declared material and volume basis. A commercial quote may also list onboarding, reporting, representation or another support line. Record each line as quoted instead of assuming it belongs inside an annual figure.

What must be paid to start?
Combine only confirmed first-year recurring charges and confirmed one-off setup charges. Keep VAT-basis mismatches, pass-through amounts and unpriced services visible beside the subtotal.
What remains after introductory terms end?
Remove genuinely one-off setup charges, then record renewal pricing, term, indexation and notice windows. An absent renewal figure is an unknown—not permission to reuse the first-year total.
